LFR-5006 Halogen-free flame retardant for modified PA

LFR-5006 is a P&N synergistic flame retardant. It is a white powder with low dust, high temperature resistance and non-migration. It is designed for flame retardant engineering plastics such as PA6 & PA66 (glass fiber reinforced and unreinforced).

1. LFR-5006 is especially suitable for flame retardant high glass fiber reinforced nylon system (PA6、PA66 etc.) with excellent mechanical and electrical properties.
2. UL94 V0 at 0.8mm-1.6mm could be obtained with dosage at 15-20wt%, depending on polymer grades, process conditions and glass fiber types.
3. LFR-5006 has better thermal stability with a wide processing window. Excellent and stable flame retardant performance of products can be obtained using various equipment.
4. LFR-5006 can also be compounded with other halogen free flame retardant synergist to further improve mechanical and electric performance to meet the stringent demands of the engineering plastic industry.


Pre-drying of PA resin is very important before mixing with LFR-5006. Water content after pre-dry should be under 0.1%(W/W) if possible. It is recommended that PA resin is pre-dried at 120℃ for 4 hours.
Conditions for mixing and processing may vary depending on applications, usually homogeneous mixing is required and processed below 320℃
