Applications:

  • Not corrosive;
  • Not affected by intensity or robustness;
  • Avoid excessive concentration;
  • Good thermal stability;
  • Can be used at adverse climatic condition;
  • Compatible with different bonding agents (preliminary tests are necessary);
  • No yellowing under high curing temperature(up to 200℃);
  • Compatible with softener, water and oil repellent (preliminary tests are necessary);
  • Particularly well suitable for problematic material composition and fabric texture;
  • Prolonged storage may cause turbidity, which does affect the effectness;
  • Reach P-BWU 03-I-16.5.54 standard for fiber textures, and meet Germany technical standard DIN 4102∕B1 for polypropylene acrylic. (The minimum dry coating fibers: 16%, polyester: 4%) .
Suitable for flame retardant of natural or recycled fiber spinning, wool, polypropylene acrylic,polyester textiles or other synthetic fiber and natural fiber. This is not for flame retardant resistant to washing.

Instructions:

Flame retardant 3001 is soluble in water, so it can be directly added into the finishing bath. Some necessary surfactants may be added to ensure the penetration into the fabrics. Cross-linking agent TMM resin may be used to enhance water resistance. (Curing temperature is between 100-160℃.)
Recommendation for pad finishing suitable for different flame retardant finishing requirements:
Padding process:
Cellulose (pass the test of vertical bottom burning)
300-450g/L LFR-3001 (10-14% dry add on fabric),
Pick up 70%-100%
Wool thin 230-270g/L LFR-3001
thick 200-250g/L LFR-3001
8-12% dry add on fabric
Automotive interior (pass the test of horizontal burning
MWSS302)
Cellulose 200-300g/L
Dipping process (i.e. curtain)
300g/L-500g/L LFR-3001 (calculate the dosage according to the fabric dry weight)
Or 400g/L-500g/L LFR-3001 (calculate the dosage according to the fabric wet weight: (about 50%
p.u.)
About 60- 70% liquid on fabrics, avoid the loss of the working liquid.
Curing temperature: 100-130℃ or dry in the air (no more than 150℃)
